These are the things I look forward to each year and what inspired the four colors in the winter set of this season’s collection.

I know that January is technically the start of a new year, but there’s always been something about fall that feels fresh, bright, and full of the promise of a new start. (The “Back to school” mentality applies to adults, too, right?) Either way, I’m so excited to introduce my fall and winter line.

Ever since I was little, I’ve been convinced that moms have super powers. If I skinned my knee, my mom knew exactly how to bandage it and make me better. If I had a nightmare, she knew how to put a hand on my forehead and whisper sweet dreams instead. If I had a crush and he didn’t like me back, she knew how to make me feel special and assure me that he was missing out. And not only was my mom all-knowing and all-powerful, she was (and still is) absolutely beautiful. I remember watching her getting dressed to go out. My favorite part was when she sprayed her perfume and would let me steal a little bit for myself. I immediately felt like the most glamorous six-year-old alive. (What a feeling!)

It goes without saying that if moms have super powers, then grandmothers definitely have super duper powers. I mean, if they taught moms all that they know, imagine all the knowledge and life secrets grandmothers have!

Here at Wind & Willow Home, we believe everyday should be about celebrating the mommas, the grandmothers, and all those other special ladies in your life, with mother’s day just the biggest celebration of them all! So in honor of your memories and all of those to come, we put together a little mother’s day gift collection. Here are some of our favorites:
