Helping a Small Business Grow and Giving to Those Who Need it Most

Hi Friends, on April 15th I will be launching an Indiegogo crowd funding campaign and I need your support and willingness to spread the word. This campaign is all about growing and giving.  I have been busy getting everything prepared, from the brand to the video to some new, exclusive products. I can't wait to share everything with you!

Indiegogo is an online platform to help creative projects raise the funds needed to accomplish goals of which they couldn't otherwise attain without the support of their "crowd".  My project is multi-faceted and geared toward raising the necessary funds for the start up material and labor costs to bring to life a line of soft goods that I have been working on for some time.  This exciting new line will include tea towels, pillows and table linens to compliment the organic modern style of my wooden housewares.  This new line is not only important to me creatively, it is also necessary to continue to grow Wind and Willow Home.  As sustainably harvested wood becomes more scarce,  it is increasingly important for my business to diversify into other offerings in order for it to grow.   I feel extremely blessed with the opportunity to be a Designer and Maker, I hope to have the good fortune to continue for years to come.

In addition to adding new products, I also want to take this opportunity to add a giving aspect to Wind and Willow Home.  The Bowl Full project aims to feed those in need near and far.  For each item purchased through WindandWillowHome.com I will donate a set amount of meals to our giving partners. When preset goals are met (500 meals, 1000...), we will hold giving events where friends, family and fans can join forces and volunteer for a great cause.  This is more than just writing a check, this project is giving in action as it aims to get people involved and spread the joy of helping others. 

Please note: Indiegogo is not a charity but a crowd funding platform. For whatever dollar amount you wish to pledge to our goal, you will receive one of the rewards associated with it. You can think of it as recieveing exclusive products for a great cause.  These incentives are geared toward giving, whether it be for Mother's Day, Wedding Gifts or a great piece for a Graduate.  It's a great way for you to score fantastic products in addition to helping a small business grow. It's giving at it's best.
